I am trying to find a Carburator for my son's 2007 Kymco MX'er 150cc ATV. the spec sheet reads:

Type: PD, Float Lever 14.8mm (0.592 in), Ventury dia. 25mm (1 in), Throttle type PISTON.

I see a lot of 24mm out there from China that are made for KYMCO 125/150 cc.

not being an engine person I am wondering if a 24mm will be fine since the listing on ebay states it is for the same model I have. also what is a good place for KYMCO parts?

I doubt you will find many folks who know much about Kymco in this forum.

As far as a 24mm working in place of a 25mm, my only concern would be the mounting arrangement.
They may well be the same carb, however. Just different measuring points. If the 24mm is stated as correct for your year and model, I would go for it, but only if I had a no-fee return option. A restocking fee would kill the purchase.

Write an email to the carb vendor, asking if they 100% guaranty it will work with your son's quad. Make sure you include the model (number) and serial number when you make the inquiry.
