What is the best way to get those black plastic tabs that hold plastics together without breaking them? Can they be removed and re-used or do most folks replace with nuts and bolts?

I use to use two 3/16 flat screwdrivers to pup them out, but later I ground out the cheapo pliers that come with the quad's tool kit to pull them out. Once in a while one will get broken or lost, but they can be purchased on Ebay. I do not use screws and nuts, since they do not allow to body panels to move relative to each other.
