I'm looking at possibilly buying a 2002 Yamaha Grizzly 660 4x4 and need some advice, ie what should I watch out for, ask the seller, etc. About the quad; owner states it has/is ultramatic(?), skid plates from front too back, warn winch, 802 miles, big wheel kit and in perfect condition. Also states that it has $2000.00 in accessories. He's asking a firm $3100.00 Is this a good deal? ANY ADVICE/HELP???? Thank you

NADA shows an average retail of $2735, with a low retail of $2080.
The add-ons he quotes are only worth more if you had planned to do the same mods to one you purchased. To someone who doesn't want or need them they are worthless. The miles are very low for an 8 year old quad. Look hard at the rear tires, as 800 miles will show very little wear if it is true. Badly worn/gouged/plugged rear tires might indicate hard use in those 800 miles. Ask if he still has the factory original tires and if yes look at them as well.

If it is pristine it might be a worthy purchase.

Ultramatic is Yamaha's belt drive system. Those who own it generally like it.
