Congrats, William. NM is a nice state, you will like it. No humidity at all most of the year. I spent some time in Albuquerque back in the '70s.

When you get a few days of vacation time and a weekend, look up Desert Hawk ATV Adventures in Phoenix. He will show you the ride of your life, and much closer than Moab.

Where does he do rides at? Moab is less than half the distance from Farmington compared to Phoenix.

In that case forget I mentioned it,. LOL. I had no idea Moab was that close.

But, hopefully you will get the chance to ride Moab. The Obama Administration is trying to get it closed to all off-road traffic. And it appears as though they will succeed, since they are doing it by slight of hand.

Yea, places like Moab are an endangered species.

Moab is about 190 miles from Farmington and 420 or so from Phoenix. It's 20 miles from Colorado and 50 from Arizona in the Four Corners area.
