Yeah, I've seen a few old farts wandering myself, mostly at nursing homes, wandering around in the halls.

My mother is in one. Lots of geezer-types wandering around.

By the way guys, A few pages back I mentioned job possibilities in New Mexico. Last Friday I was offered a job in Farmington, and I've accepted it. If everything goes as planned, I will be there in early April.

I remember the conversation. Congradulations. Tell us a bit about it when you get a chance. Probably pretty busy trying to get relocated.

Well I still have a little time. They have to complete a background check and physical, neither of which will be a problem. I'll still be here at least 2 weeks.

The position is an ICE (Instrumentation/Controls/Electrical) Journeyman position at a coal fired power plant. The pay is more without overtime than I've ever made with overtime. Not only that, they are paying a mover to move me, paying a company to sell my house and find me temporary and permanent housing, paying a month's pay up front to cover other expenses that may come up, and a bunch of other stuff. I've never had a company do all that for me.

I'm hoping my house will sell pretty soon (not likely to be soon, it's been for sale 1.5 years this week) so that I can buy a new 4wd utility ATV (probably a Grizzly 450/550/700). I'll keep the Wolverine, and as I get the money I'll buy things it needs (like new floorboards), as well as experimenting with a few modifications.

I can't wait to get there and to have a free weekend to go to Moab.
