Took mine out for its break in last monday and absolutely love it... Its got the power of my old yfz 450 but so much easier to handle... I havent ran into any issues with it... Everyone says its hard starting cold... If you wait for the fuel pump to do its job it hires up just fine... \

i hear you on the love for this bike man, i just bought one last week and i have a hard time getting of it, about the starting issue, it takes some time for the started to break in i had alot of trouble with mine the first couple days now it starts on the first whirl everytime as long as you let the fuel pump prime itself, i can't get over the cornering of the bike it handles amazing!

quick note, stock KFX top speed is around 150 to 160km/h. it still pulls strong through fifth gear... Happy trails ^-^ :listen:

So I've been considering a trade... and it's good to see a YFZ/KFX comparison written.

I liked the modded YFZ450, but it was a bit much for the woods... too high strung.
It didn't lug.

How does the KFX do lugging around in slow or tight technical sections?
I'd be trading a 400EX in for it....
