After my 89 330 2 wheel drive Bayou set up all year. I cleaned the card and there was vasrnish and a hard green looking goo in the card. I cleaned it up and cleaned out the jets and it cranks fine. After I drive it for a short distance it cuts off and will not crank for a few minutes. It has me stumped why it cranks and runs but only for a short distance. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like it is running out of fuel. Might be the vent or hose in the fuel tank cap is plugged, or the float/float valve is sticking, or the fuel filter/strainer (if so equipped) is plugged

I agree it sounds like you may be running out of fuel check your vent line and make sure it is not kinked anywhere also if there was still gunk in your gas tank it may have got back into your carb so you may need to pull and clean it again.
