Its not really what the 'best' ATV is for the mud, its what you have the most fun on in the mud. I bet the Prairie 700, Grizzly 660, Rincon 650, Arctic Cat 650 and Sportsman 700 all kick a$s in the mud, (I know the Sportsman does because I own one.)

I agree having fun is what it's all about, heck I have a blast mudding my 250R (won't go deeper than my nerfs due to open airbox). I can say it's a lot more fun roosting friends with sportquads in greasy shallow mud than it is with utility quads with mudflaps lol. For the super deep mud, I know the big 4x4's are king.

Hell yeah, nothings more fun then flying through mud and roosting around on a sport quad. But also like you said when the mud starts to get deep its time to take out the big 4x4's.

ya, when i said above the griz...I did not say that is the one that i would use or prefer. if I were going to ride on any of them I would say the the Rincon is the most fun...I KNOW I KNOW....your saying "what?" ya, I whould ride the Rincon because it is so sporty and you can ride more sporty that the others. But as far as TRUE 4x4 goes...the griz or the kawi 700.

So if I were to get or ride one of those, I would ride the Rincon.

The best mud atv is probbly the kawasaki 700. It has a simple locking front differental which makes it easy to lock. The funnest would have to be the rincon because just like ridinred said its more sporty and more sporty means more fun....In modded form the sportsman is the best because the power.

I would say the sportsman because it has the rawhide tires and they will pull you almost anything and the sportsman has so much power that you dont need any help gettin out of the mud!!!
