Ice Racing, trail riding and gullie crawling in the snow on the ATV. If we lived in the mountains I would get a set of tracks (1/2 the price of a sled) and still go anywhere.

Im a snowmobiler in the winter even though i rode my atv also. But im not as scared to fall off my snowmobile in the winter as i am to fall of my quad in teh summer so im a little more crazy on sleds.

id have to disagree with that. i know a few people with them and there still pounding the hell out of there bikes and ruining our groomed snowmobile trails. (leaving 6-8" ruts)
Id preferr a sled. much faster, more comfortable. quicker. down side..7-8.5 mpg for me.

Here in Utah there are many groomed trails and unlimited off trail snowmobiling. I only quad, don't want to spend on a sled. Anyway the groomers are great to ride on and the sleds pack them nicely, we don't leave ruts or break through the crust. We put 60 miles on in one trip once it was a nice ride.
