I hear this winter is supposed to be one of the worse winters we've ever seen. I know this summer was about the coldest summer I can remember; it mainly rained and hailed all summer long besides the occasional every 3rd or 4th day of sunshine. Anyone else heard anything about this winter?

I heard the same. 120 day forecast is for doom and gloom. I guess we can blame "global warming" for it, as well? ROFLMAO.

Let us hope the Dems do not get the "Energy" bill passed like they want, or else this winter will cost us double what last winter did.

Believe it or not, I actually heard some tree hugger on NPR say this cool weather we have been having was caused by global warming.
Those environmentalist must REALLY think the American people are morons.

I'll just sit back and enjoy it relaxing by the corn stove (fuel grown on the family farm  ). I'm hoping to get plenty of snow instead of just the cold, snow makes me good money moving it and is fun to play in.

We got snow last year, so shouldn't see any again for about 9-10 years.

Last winter was pretty harsh, even here in Florida. It was much worse where my hillbilly girlfriend lives in Cowtucky, with bad ice storms closing roads and causing power outages. I couldn't imagine it being worse.

Oh William it can be much worse. Last winter was mild compared to several others we have had in Ohio and Kentucky. '78-79, '85-'86, '93-'94, and '04-'05 were particularly bad as I remember. 25 below zero, snowfall measured in feet instead of inches, and ice 3 inches thick on everything.

Maybe in Punjab province, but not here. They are forecasting a relatively mild winter here.

I hope it's not a bad winter. I'm still getting use to New Mexico winters, versus Florida winters. The coldest I saw here last winter was about 8 degrees, and I rode my streetbike at 16 degrees. I hate not being able to ride. That's why I added heated handgrips.
