In the latest Dirt Wheels (Feb 2011), they tested a Kymco MXU500i IRS utility ATV. They gave it very good reviews. They even said a lot of good things about the quality, fit and finish, the features, etc.

For a MSRP of $6299, it has IRS, diff lock, low range, a 12 volt outlet, and what seems to be no glaring faults so far. Of course, some faults could show up later on.

I'm not quite ready to buy one over a Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, or even a Kawasaki, but could it be that they have finally caught up with the Japanese Big-4?

WILLIAM,

Geezer here. I am so very sorry. I intended to hit "Quote" and make a reply, but my finger hit the wrong button, and I ended up editing instead. I did not mean to do that, and am so very, very sorry.

I guess arthritis wreaks havoc on those old fingers, huh?

Naw, trying to post and watch Regis and Kelly at the same time.

Now, my intended comment. Kymco has done real good overcoming the "Chinese" syndrome. I think the biggest problem they're facing now is a reliable dealer network. Before I bought my buggy, I was looking at a "clone", but would have had to drive to North Carolina just to look at one. I ain't brave enough to buy one off the net sight unseen.
