Wll I am looking at a used 2008 Baja Wilderness 400 4X4, with apx 1000 kms on it, the owner stated that it is mint and everything works on it. I sold my 89 Honda 350 Fourtrax a year or so ago and have been looking for a cheap bike to play around our yard with my son as he has a polaris sportsman 90. My son started out with the Gio 50's and 110 then moved to the polaris.

I am not one to beat a bike hard on the trails, and more for occassional driving as well I have a kimpex plow I would like to install on an atv rather then using my snow blower, plowing is more fun.

The owner of the 400 was asking 1800.00 Cdn and said they would sell for 1500.00. The bikes are 5000.00 new at Cdn Tire, however do go on sale for 3999.99. I would certainly never pay that even on sale for a off brand ATV, however the 1500.00 has peeked my interest. And thats not to say they wouldnt go a little lower. At that price if everything is in good working order, no normal issues with the biek such as cracked boots, hoses etc do you feel that is a fair price?

I feel at that price if it turns out to be junk, I could probably get rid of it for what I would have into it, again, I certainly wouldnt pay the 3999.00-5000.00 for one but 1500... doesnt sound to bad.

Let me know of your thoughts. Also attached is a pic of the actual bike.

Chinese clone, next to impossible to find parts for, unless you have a reputable dealer close. They're built to last a couple years, throw away and buy another.

Look it over VERY close, concentrate on suspension and steering. If you can't find anything wrong, offer him less and see what he takes.

You can buy a little older name brand for close to that.

I would not buy it at any price. Not what you wanted to hear I am sure, but my honest opinion.
