Does anybody know the best setting for a stock Rincon on a Cobra FI2000R, I got it from a guy that had an aftermarket pipe on his and I reset it to default pot settings.

I do not, but what is the advantage of putting it on a stock quad?

Well, it was free. When I first got it I didn't reset it and I liked the throttle response. It worked fine except backfiring when I let off the gas. I also have a set of mudlite XL tires and was hoping it would help offset the power loss.

Well, free is good.

Now you need a after-market muffler and air filter to wake that Rincon up.

If it is backfiring on decel, try slightly richer on the idle mixture and leave the rest alone. If that is even possible. I do not know, having never owned a FI quad.

It has 3 set screws 1: for cruising
2: for when you accelarate
3: for when you hit peak RPM
When I get the money I'll start upgrading, but that will have to wait until I get another job.

2. Start with the left hand or green light pot. This adjustment works either from idle or above idle to
a R.P.M. of about 5000 while the ATV is driven at a steady throttle or slowly increasing throttle.
This is the cruise range and is where the emissions leanness creates issues like choppy on-off
throttle application, surging, and backfiring on trailing throttle.
3. Turn this pot back to zero, and make one position increases until you feel the best performance in this range. Do this test a few times to make sure you have it right.

Looks to me like you need to do a little experimentation. Since not too many riders will have installed this unit on a stock quad, I doubt that anyone will be able you tell you where to set the green pot.
