I built an easy fix for just your problem. Made it jout of 1in angle iron in about an hour and a half
What I did was make a rectangle the length of my box, for my dakota. weld up a crossbar that the front tires come up against and also in the back so it won't roll backward. I also put downward legs on either side in the back with an angle across that lays right in front of the bumper and locks in. When I put the ramps on it, I drive right up over the back stop into the cradle and lock the brake. never has moved. I did leave 3inches in front for spacing.

All I have to do to take it out is lift the back, slide it back and put away.
