I am interested in the Kubota vehicle, but want offroad capability. I knot the Rhino is tops in terms of trail ability (ok, the Ranger is in there too), but I really like the Kubota's hydrostatic transmission. I know the Kubota isnt going to win any drag races or top speed races, but it seems like on of the most rugged vehicles. Another issue with the Kubota is its weight - almost 600 pounds heavier I believe. While on hard ground this would translate into more traction (weight = traction), it may have a tendency to sink in the mucky stuff. I really like the possibility of a diesel engine too, good mileage and power. Any advice would be appreciated.

If you want a UTV with no sportiness at all, the Kubota is just your ticket.
