I am a Honda fan from way, way back (my first Honda was purchased in 1969), but I think it is buck ugly. Tires are too small, front end looks crappy,
ect.

I agree.

It's definitely something new for the brand, but I don't think the Big Red is going to be able to compete with other brands that have been in the market for years.

I go way back with Honda as well. My first Honda was a factory support ride for desert racing in 1985, on a CR 500 dirt bike. I've probably owned more Honda's over the years than any other brand, but I have to agree with the other post. The Big Red lacks imagination; its ugly and boring. And based on its specs and the fact that it is using the Rincon transmission I suspect it is going to be geared too tall, have no low range, and overall poor performance. I'm not impressed from what I've seen so far.

I believe the Big Red is going to have dual range trany, which will negate any concern about the Rincon trany being geared too tall for heavy use.
