Back in the summer I had problems with my '03 Honda Rubicon. I replaced the CDI and had no further problems until about 3 weeks ago. I was riding and started over a hill and glanced down and my gear selection display was blinking. I turned it off and back on and it was back to normal. I then had the same problem occur again a few minutes later. Turned it off and back on and all seemed fine.
I hadn't had time to check anything out and hadn't driven it since, until I started it tonight to change the place I had it parked. In neutral the speed on the display was reading as high as 99 mph, without the ATV moving.
Any ideas what could be wrong? Could the CDI box have a loose or dirty connection?

Could this be a speed sensor issue?

Codes indicate a bad speed sensor, meter, or ECM. The ECM was new in July, and the speed sensor isn't causing the problem, as the odometer and trip odometer are not functioning. I drove a half mile or so and the trip odometer never moved. The manual tells me to check the connection behind the radiator, which I haven't had a chance to do yet. Could be a bad or loose connection, or bad meter, which I assume is part of the digital display.
